About Mrs. Royds
Jennifer Royds is a former parent and teacher at the Brandywine School. The school and its community have been an integral part of her life for the past eleven years. Prior to teaching, Jen received a Bachelor of Science in Food Science at the Pennsylvania State University. She worked in the pharmaceutical industry in both medical sales and sales training for over ten years.
Having taught in Playgroup and supporting many other classes along the way, Jen is honored to be serving Brandywine School as its Director. She believes that early childhood education is much more than preparation for elementary school. She feels when children are surrounded by nurturing teachers and a robust curriculum, they develop the social, emotional, and cognitive skills needed to build a solid foundation for lifelong learning and well-being.
Jen, her husband Mike, and their three children live in Downingtown.
